As the title suggests, it has been a wild week.
Lincoln's 'two year old' molars have decided to drop, all four at the same time! This has resulted in him being quite grumpy (understandably so!). But it gets worse...

Lincoln and Carter have both been diagnosed with middle ear infections and are sharing an oversize bottle of antibiotics. This infection was picked up last Friday after we spent all of Thursday night up with Lincoln as he vomited four times. Apparently the two things are not related, so it's a mystery as to what caused Linc to get so crook. Poor little guy spent all Saturday being very, very quiet - he even fell asleep on Dad's lap while watching TV! This resulted in an unusually quiet welcome for Grandad and Nan who have arrived back in Canberra for Carter's birthday party.

Father's day was on Sunday and Dad and Carter got to spend some special time together...at the doctor...Yep, poor old Carter developed a nasty rash on Saturday which gradually became worse. Luckily the doctor advised us that it is most likely a viral rash which is simply a complication from the virus causing the middle ear infection. We are to take him back to the doctor if the spots don't start to clear up by tomorrow.

Carter is amazing everybody with how quickly he is learning to walk. We often notice him just standing up without holding onto anything. His walking distance record so far is about two metres, which is incredible, since he only started taking baby steps one week ago! He is also learning 'ta' where he receives/offers an object - it is so cute. He also says 'ah-huh' - when he grabs something he's not supposed to (like the remote control!) - it's pretty hilarious. He and Linc continue to butt heads (sometimes literally) with Linc still pushing Carter over onto the tiled floor...
