An update on the virus situation - Linc woke quite a few times last night and took ages before he drifted off to sleep. Apart from this, and a cough every now and then, things aren't too bad. Yet.
Sources close to Linc assure us that Eva's purely a plaything...but Linc isn't saying anything...!

Linc's favourite thing to do at the moment is stand up. He's still a bit wobbly, but he just loves seeing the world from a perspective other than lying down! He appears to be putting on a good amount of weight - it's interesting to compare older photos with the present - he's now got a double chin!
He's become a lot more aware of the cats lately - he's still not too sure about them, but definitely not afraid - he just likes to watch them as they jump around the furniture. His average sleeping time at night is around 8 hours, with the sleeps during the day varying between 'power naps' to a good couple of hours at a time. Mum and Dad have also realised that he is a big fan of the AFL - he just loves watching the games and it holds his attention for ages.

An excellent movie, and an even better book (by Stephenie Meyer)... but unfortunately Linc's audition didn't work out, with some english bloke getting the part.
He couldn't quite comprehend the stingrays - yet... but Mum has been known to give them a little scratch under the chin!!!
Linc had his 3 mth check-up today - all looking good, although he's only put on 90 grams since the last weigh in (Thur 24/4) for a weight of 5160 grams. Apparently that's fine, so long as he's putting on weight (rather than losing it) and is happy and developing normally - which he is. He's 60 cm long (12 cm increase since birth) with a head circumference of 41.5 cm (up 6 cm).
PS - just checked Dad's weight increase around the same time, and he only put on 28 grams in the last week of his 3rd month... but Dad was 5448 grams after three months - an increase of 2469 grams (Linc's total increase is 2150 grams).
Linc turned 3 months old yesterday - and boy is he growing. In an effort to beef him up, he's now having another feed during the day, and we'll see this week if it's made any difference to his weight gain. He's been averaging about 300 grams a fortnight - which is apparently fine - but the Doc would like to see him putting a little more on. The last time we weighed him was Thurs 24 Apr and he was 5070 grams then - which was an increase of 145 grams in a week. But as you can see from the photos, he's doing very well - and 'talking' more and more every day which is highly amusing! As a side fact, his feet are 9.5 cm long - not sure how they compare, but we do know that his feet have been too long for some of the suits that fit him!
