Another trip to the doctor for Carter this morning (he was due for his 12 mth immunisation), and it turns out Carter has developed another nasty middle ear infection and has been switched to a different type of antibiotics (cefaclor). At least that explains why he has been so grumpy over the last couple of days and has been waking during the night and screaming for a solid couple of hours. Which brings me to the morning of his party, where he was awake from 2.30am to 4.30am...incredibly, it was father who eventually got him back to sleep! Suffice it to say this wasn't a good start to party day, and resulted in a tearful Squidge...although this situation was compounded by Squidge being entirely unimpressed about the noise coming from 36 people inside a 148 square metre house...!  Apart from that it was a wonderful morning, and a big thank you to those who helped, including Gran, Pop, Nan, Grandad and Aunty Chook!
