Due to the amazing scrapbooking talent of Mum's sister Christine, Lincoln appears in the latest issue (78, 2009) of 'creative paper' magzine with his very own page - isn't it a beautiful layout! Linc's starring role in 'Twilight'

An excellent movie, and an even better book (by Stephenie Meyer)... but unfortunately Linc's audition didn't work out, with some english bloke getting the part.

However - Linc is kept busy touring on the back of his win in 'So You Think You Can Dance Australia'...go Linc!

Linc's first trip to the beach

Mum and Dad had no idea what to expect when Linc was taken to the beach on the weekend for his first seaside adventure... Would there be crying, screams of excitement, looks of incredularity? Nope - fell fast asleep - and please don't switch off those nice soothing sounds, thanks very much!

But the cold sand on his bare feet soon woke him up!He couldn't quite comprehend the stingrays - yet... but Mum has been known to give them a little scratch under the chin!!!

Linc's check-up

Lincoln - 1 week old and 10 weeks old

Linc had his 3 mth check-up today - all looking good, although he's only put on 90 grams since the last weigh in (Thur 24/4) for a weight of 5160 grams. Apparently that's fine, so long as he's putting on weight (rather than losing it) and is happy and developing normally - which he is. He's 60 cm long (12 cm increase since birth) with a head circumference of 41.5 cm (up 6 cm).

PS - just checked Dad's weight increase around the same time, and he only put on 28 grams in the last week of his 3rd month... but Dad was 5448 grams after three months - an increase of 2469 grams (Linc's total increase is 2150 grams).

3 months old

Linc turned 3 months old yesterday - and boy is he growing. In an effort to beef him up, he's now having another feed during the day, and we'll see this week if it's made any difference to his weight gain. He's been averaging about 300 grams a fortnight - which is apparently fine - but the Doc would like to see him putting a little more on. The last time we weighed him was Thurs 24 Apr and he was 5070 grams then - which was an increase of 145 grams in a week. But as you can see from the photos, he's doing very well - and 'talking' more and more every day which is highly amusing! As a side fact, his feet are 9.5 cm long - not sure how they compare, but we do know that his feet have been too long for some of the suits that fit him!
